Homemade Baked Tacos Shells |
Baked Tacos Shells are more commonly used.
It is made from very little oil and no oil while baking. So this is very
healthy food also. This looks and tastes like ready made tacos shell. But if you
cannot bake them, you can make them by deep
frying in oil as well.

Ingredients:
Yellow
maize flour – 1 ½ cup
All
purpose flour – ¾ cup
Salt
– to taste
Oil
– 1 tbs
Method:
1.
In mixing
bowl, take yellow maize flour, all purpose flour, salt, and oil.
2.
Mix it and
add little water and knead medium hard dough. (not very hard not very soft).
3.
Again add 1
ts of oil and again knead. Rest for 10 minutes.
4.
From same
dough, make small dumpling, roll it thin.
5.
Cut with
round shape cutter to give even shape and Prick it with fork.
6.
Drape it on
the two bars of oven rack.
7.
Bake it in
pre-heated oven for 10-12 minutes at 180 degree Celsius. (Baking time is depending on thickness and
dough consistency, here these took 12 minutes).
8.
Remove from
the oven.
9.
Crispy, crunchy BAKED TACOS SHELL is ready.
Serving Tip:
Stuff Tacos filling or any of your choice in
Tacos Shell and Serve.(Try Mexican Tacos - Rajma Filling)
