Mango Shrikhand - Amrakhand |
Mango Shrikhand is one type of
flavorful Shrikhand. It is a very popular Indian dessert. It is also known as Aamrakhand. It is very easy to make at home. It is made from
hung curd, sugar and mango pulp. Here you can also add nuts like cashews,
almonds, pistachios etc. saffron threads can also be added to give nice aroma
and color. But it is optional. You can avoid it. You can also add Cardamom
powder to make more flavorful and aromatic.

Here you can use homemade curd as
well. Just need to hang curd in muslin cloth for 5-6 hours.

Ingredients:
Hung
Curd – 2 cup
Mango
Pulp – 1 cup
Sugar
– ¾ cup
Saffron
threads – 8-10
Method:
1.
Wash mangoes
and peel; make fine puree from them.
2.
In a mixing
bowl, add hung curd and sugar; mix well.
3.
Add mango
pulp/puree and blend them well.
4.
Add saffron
threads and mix well.
5.
Set into the
refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours to chill it.
6.
After 2-3 hours
MANGO SHRIKHAND | AAMRAKHAND is
ready to eat.
Serving Tip:
